I have extensive experience in my subject areas, having achieved a first-class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, a Masters degree in Governance and Ethics, and a Graduate Diploma in Law. After graduating university I worked as a school careers and guidance councillor from 2020-2022, with particular responsibility for student wellbeing and safeguarding. During this time, I personally mentored students who received offers from Oxford, Cambridge, and LSE which I am incredibly proud of. Teaching during the pandemic was a big challenge, and I understand that many students will still be feeling the impact it had on their learning five years on. Mental health and wellbeing are an essential part of achieving your best, and I always put extra emphasis on supporting students to manage their stress levels in the lead up to exams. I’d be a particularly great match for students looking to achieve top grades, particularly those applying for Russell Group universities and/or interested in a career in law as I currently work as a Legal Officer in the Ministry of justice.
