The tutor says of himself:

I have wide experience (over 20 years) of tutoring KS3 GCSE and A Level pupil in Sciences and Maths. I always enjoy my tutoring and achieve good rapport with my pupils. I have used a variety of communication methods, visual, methods are very important in the Sciences. Clear communication is my particular passion and keeping things as simple as possible.
I expect my pupils to keep their notes organized and to bring the most recent notes to the next lesson for continuity. For my part I shall give 100% to help my pupils achieve appropriate success.

Preferred tutoring venue:

I have a car, so I am happy to travel up to around 15 miles to the student’s home (I do not offer online tuition as in my view it is not the most effective way to achieve the best learning outcomes).

Here is some of the recent feedback Bob has received:

Thank you so much for recommending Bob. Bob was everything any student could wish for, he was well prepared, confident at what he was teaching, patient and an excellent time keeper. We were all very impressed! I hope you will recommend him with confidence to other students.

Mrs G from Wymondham

Bob is a wonderful tutor. He had a great connection with her and she really enjoyed the tutoring sessions; they were very informative and well thought out. Bob is very enthusiastic and patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone that was looking for a maths or science tutor. We will really miss seeing him every week!

Mrs C from Attleborough

Hi Simon, I would just like to let you know that Bob is doing a great job so far. We are really happy and my daughter has built up a good relationship with him. He is flexible with the subjects and very patient and great at explaining things to her. Thank you for putting us in touch.

Mrs C from Attleborough

Bob was very communicative, diligent and extremely well prepared. He really tried hard in his own time exploring content for my daughter’s age group. Bob was friendly and helpful, and I would t hesitate to recommend him for secondary age children.

Mrs G from Diss

Olivia and I spoke regularly during the period of the tuition and had a chat at the end about how it had gone. Overall, very satisfied. Bob knew the syllabus and the exam board vagaries, so his tuition was relevant and well-structured. I formed the impression that he listened to Olivia and her views on where she felt help was needed, but also focussed on what he considered necessary, based on his experience. Olivia was able to relate and respond to Bob’s teaching style. He was also flexible on timing, taking as long as needed per session, rather than clock watching. There was one moment of serendipity, when on the day following a session, Olivia had an unexpected test at school on the exact same topic covered by Bob the evening before. Olivia’s result was so good. Also found the service from Norfolk Tutors very satisfactory.

Mr P from Royston

Bob had been absolutely fantastic! We have had a few tutors, but Bob is by far the best. He actually really cares about his students and it’s so lovely to see!
