I am a fully qualified and very experienced primary teacher who has successfully taught all age ranges from 3-11. I have taught in a wide range of schools, including small village schools, large city schools, a special needs hub, and an independent school. I have extensive experience in preparing children for the KS2 assessments.
I have taught children with a wide variety of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and those who are more able. I have completed various professional development courses, including those focused on teaching gifted children, children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autistic spectrum disorder, and supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.
I am now retired from teaching and enjoy tutoring, giving a child the time and attention that is so difficult to find in a large, busy classroom.
