I have an easy relaxed style that children and adults find helpful and reassuring. I have more than 25 years successful private tutoring experience enabling children to overcome problems or to raise their performance to gain common entrance or high levels in KS2 SATS. I have also worked as a tutor for Suffolk CC with disaffected pupils who were excluded from school and for Essex CC with looked after children, helping them to overcome the disadvantage of disrupted schooling. I have worked in a wide range of educational establishments including working for an educational charity helping adults gain the educational skills they need to secure a job. I have also tutored booster groups in Suffolk and Essex schools. I am always honest with parents and students about what I am able to do- I do not believe in taking money if I cannot help or if the student has reached the agreed level unless they want me to help them go further.
