The tutor says of himself:
In my long career I focused on teaching maths to children from as young as 7 years old up to the age of 13 years old. I was appointed as Head of Maths at St. Andrew’s School in Woking in 1994. As such I have vast experience of supporting children with a wide range of abilities and do so with an understanding of the importance of patience and encouragement. This is especially the case for reluctant learners and those who may have low confidence with numbers. Equally I understand that children thrive on being challenged and I fully believe in the importance of developing potential in every individual. I set high standards for my pupils and encourage and develop their sense of pride in their progress. I retired from my role in teaching in September 2020 and have since begun tutoring pupils preparing for GCSE.
